Millers Point, Sydney, NSW, Australia
Piers 8 & 9 at Walsh Bay. Originally designed with 3 levels, constructed in 1914 and used exclusively for handling wool exports.
In 2003-2004 it was converted to a mix of residential & commercial spaces, along with Piers 6 & 7, and the area linking the two - collectively known as the 'Walsh Bay Urban Renewal Project'. It was opened 3 Mar 2004 by NSW State Premier Bob Carr.
This particular piece is the sculpture 'Red, Yellow and Blue', created by Diego Latella in 1985. Part of the wonderful 'Walsh Bay Sculpture Walk'.
