Former Tramsheds, Tracks, Rosettes and Turning Circles
Sydney had a vast tram network - one of the world's largest - from 1879 until 1961. The lines were ultimately closed due largely to their popularity amongst the general public; and their hatred by motorists (who blamed the trams for traffic congestion).

Argyle Place, Millers Point. Forming a square with Argyle Street, with Argyle Place Park (known as Argyle Place Reserve until 1933) separating the two.
The area was formerly home to the Millers Point tram terminus (the neighbouring bus shelter was formerly the Tram Waiting Room).
