Cunningham Obelisk, near the Gardens Restaurant. A memorial to botanist and explorer Allan Cunningham, an early collector of Australian plants.

Following his death in 1839, Cunningham was buried in Devonshire Street Cemetery (where Central Station now stands); relocated here 25 May 1901.
