Sydney Opera House

The Sydney Opera House, Bennelong Point (originally Bennelong Island). Designed by Danish architect Jørn Utzon (selected as winner of an international design competition), constructed 1959-1973 on the site of the former Fort Macquarie Tram Depot (demolished in 1958).
