  • The Queen's Hall was built in 1823 as Hope Park Chapel of Ease for St<br />
Cuthbert's Parish. It then became Newington and St Leonards Church (Church of Scotland).It was then converted to a concert hall 1978-9 and was opened as the Queen's Hall, new home of the Scottish Philharmonic Society, by Her Majesty the Queen 6 July 1979.
