The Whitehaven or Moxham quarry, Moxham Reserve. Named after master stonemason Robert Henry Moxham, who arrived in Parramatta in 1836. The quarry operated from about 1860 - 1950s - when an aquifer was inadvertently pierced, flooding the site.
