Parramatta, NSW, Australia St John's Cathedral, built 1855. The towers date to 1820, and there has been a church on this site since 1803.
The George St Gatehouse, O'Connell St (opposite the intersection with George St itself). Erected 1885 to the design of Gordon McKinnon; replacing a small lodge built in 1820 for Governor Lachlan Macquarie.
The mural tells the story of the school known as the 'Native Institution' (1814-1822), an early attempt to force Aboriginal children to conform to a British way of life. The bridge in the background is the Lennox Bridge, built 1836-1839.
