Kangaroo Point, Brooklyn, Australia
Former ferry docks. A private ferry service operated here from 1844-1887 (when the railway arrived). In 1930 the Main Roads Board commissioned two new ferries, the 'George Peat' and the 'Frances Peat' to serve a similar route. They were operational until the road bridge was completed in 1945.
