Menangle
Menangle – the ‘Birthplace of Australian Agriculture’. Named after the property “Manangle” (a local Aboriginal word for 'swampland'), constructed on land granted to Walter Davidson in 1806.
The land was later incorporated into the larger Macarthur Estate, and became a private village to house workers from the various Camden Park properties.

NB : the van is Wollondilly's Mobile Library Service, which travels to 16 towns in the area (spending a week at each one).
