Annandale

Annandale was the name of Major George Johnston's estate, which was here (he was born in Annan, Scotland). Johnston's Bay, Johnston's Creek and Johnston Street are all named after him.

The Hunter Baillie Memorial Presbyterian Church, Johnston Street. Designed by Cyril and Arthur Blacket, constructed 1886-1889.

Commissioned by Mrs Helen Hunter Baillie in memory of her husband John - former Secretary of the Bank of New South Wales.
