The Sydney suburb of Glebe is simply a former glebe (land belonging to the church); Governor Arthur Phillip granted 400 acres to Reverend Richard Johnson (Chaplain of the First Fleet) in 1790.

Bellevue, Blackwattle Park. Designed 1896 by architect Ambrose Thornley for William Jarrett (who lived in the adjoining house called Venetia - demolished in 1913).
Disused for many years, it was restored 2005-2007 and is now the Blackwattle Cafe.
