Parramatta : Charles Street Wharf

Charles Street Wharf (aka 'Parramatta Ferry Wharf') on the Parramatta River. Part of the Sydney Ferries network, it's the farthest point from the CBD accessible by ferry (the nearby weir prevents further travel upstream).

Although there's been a wharf in operation near here since shortly after Parramatta was established, the present building dates to 1993 - added primarily to provide access to the RiverCat (shallow draft, low wash catamaran ferry).
