In 1822-1824 a second house - Hambledon Cottage, designed by Henry Kitchen - was built on the estate.

Unveiled by Governor General Lord Stonehaven on 25 March 1926, this stone marks John Macarthur's property Elizabeth Farm (named after his wife), built in 1793. The house still stands, and is situated nearby.
