Dawes Point : Roslyn Packer Theatre
Roslyn Packer Theatre, Hickson Road. Designed by architect Andrew Andersons of PTW Architects, constructed 2001-2004 on the site of (and incorporating the remaining sections) of the 1890s 'Parbury No. 3 Bond Store', and a 1950s Bond Store. Both used primarily for wool handling.
Originally named 'Sydney Theatre', it was renamed in March 2015 to celebrate one of Sydney's most generous philanthropists; and her commitment to the future of the arts in Australia.
