Darling Harbour

Formerly home to a number of heavy industries, Darling Harbour was transformed in the 1980s-1990s to the thriving commercial area you see today.

Named after Lieutenant-General Ralph Darling, Governor of New South Wales from 1825 to 1831.

Cape Bowling Green Light. Built in 1874, and originally sited on Cape Bowling Green, QLD, Australia. In 1987 the lighthouse was replaced, and the original structure (the one pictured) was shipped to the Maritime Museum in Sydney.

Reassembled in 1994.
