Pyrmont : Giba Park
Giba Park (Giba is an Aboriginal word for stone), the clifftop end of Point Street. The area beneath the park was quarried for sandstone in the 1880s; and built back up (largely in the form of flats) in the 1990s.
The park is now at the site's original level, overlooking Pirrama Park and much of Sydney Harbour.
