Rozelle : White Bay Power Station
The White Bay Power Station, a former coal-fired power station near the junction of Victoria Road and Roberts Street. Constructed by the Department of Railways 1912-1917 to supply electricity to the ever-expanding rail and tram networks.
Transferred to the Electricity Commission in 1953, decommissioned (it was no longer needed as newer generators were available) in 1983.
