Olympic Cauldron Fountain, Cathy Freeman Park. Created by Michael Scott-Mitchell, it combines the cauldron used for the 2000 Summer Olympics with a wonderful water feature - mimicking the original Lighting of the Cauldron by Cathy Freeman.
Underneath are the names of the 1,972 Olympic Medalists and 2,627 Paralympic Medallists at the Sydney Games; recorded on gold, silver and bronze nameplates.
