Blackheath, Blue Mountains

Grose Valley (named for Lieutenant-General Francis Grose, Lieutenant Governor of New South Wales), viewed from Govett's Leap Lookout.

Govett's Leap was named for the surveyor William Romaine Govett, who came across the spot in Jun 1831.

NB : The name refers to the waterfall ('Leap' is Scots for waterfall or cataract), which is also referred to as Bridal Veil Falls.
