The Rocks : Suez Canal
Suez Canal. A narrow laneway (it tapers to less than a metre wide) at the end of the Hospital Precinct, constructed 1840s.
The name is thought to be a pun on 'sewers canal'.
NB : this lane was one of the known haunts of the street gang 'The Rocks Push', hence the sculptures.
