At the time European settlement began (1788), there was a rich Aboriginal culture in place right across the country. Much of it has been destroyed or replaced; here are just a few examples of the sites I visit.

Sydney, Australia
West Head, Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park. Originally home to the Guringai People, the area was declared a National Park in 1894 (making it the second oldest in NSW, preceded only by the Royal National Park in 1879).
This particular area is the Basin Track Aboriginal Engraving Site - a large rock surface depicting men, fish, hopping wallabies and a club.
