Henry Deane Walsh (civil engineer, architect)
Henry Deane Walsh was both a civil engineer (he was a long-time Chief Engineer of the Sydney Harbour Trust) and architect. The area of 'Walsh Bay' is named in his honour, and his architectural prowess can be seen in buildings such as the Woolloomooloo Finger Wharf and the Palisade Hotel at Millers Point.

Arrow Marine Building, Darling Island section of Pirrama Road. Designed by Henry Deane Walsh, constructed Oct 1916-Apr 1917; replacing workshops for the Australian Shipping and Navigation Company.
Constructed as garages for the Jones Bay Wharf group (wharves 19, 20 and 21); later home to equipment supplier Arrow Marine Diving Services.
NB : this building was part of a larger project - wharves 19, 20 & 21 were built at the same time.
