Woolloomooloo, Sydney, NSW, Australia
The suburb of Woolloomooloo, a former docklands area beside Sydney Harbour. Notable are the 410m Finger Wharf [constructed 1911-1915] and the Andrew 'Boy' Charlton Pool [1908].
NB : the name comes from 'Wolloomooloo House', a cottage built by the first landowner John Palmer around 1793. It's unclear why he called it that.
