Percy Allan (12 July 1861 – 7 May 1930) was a civil engineer who designed an incredible number of bridges (583) in New South Wales; many incorporating his 'Allan Truss' design.

The Dunmore Bridge over the Paterson River. Designed by Percy Allan, constructed 1899.
Major renovation work was carried out in September 2012 (just after this photo) - the lifting spans were removed, and sections of the bridge were replaced (same basic design, different materials).
