Percy Allan (12 July 1861 – 7 May 1930) was a civil engineer who designed an incredible number of bridges (583) in New South Wales; many incorporating his 'Allan Truss' design.

Underneath the second Pyrmont Bridge (the first was a simple wooden structure, built 1858 and demolished 1902), opened 28 June 1902.
Designed by Percy Allan, who also engineered the similar Glebe Island Bridge a year later.
