Hickson Road Reserve - a small grassed area beside the 'Park Hyatt Hotel' section of Hickson Road. Both the road and reserve take their name from Robert Hickson, long-time President of the Sydney Harbour Trust.
Beyond is the Sydney Opera House on Bennelong Point (originally Bennelong Island). Designed by Danish architect Jørn Utzon (selected as winner of an international design competition), constructed 1959-1973 on the site of the former Fort Macquarie Tram Depot (demolished in 1958).
