Cetatea Poenari ('Poenari Castle', or 'Poenari Citadel'), Mount Cetatea in the Argeș River Valley. Designed by Negru Vodă (and sometimes referred to as 'The Citadel of Negru Vodă'), erected around the beginning of the 13th century by the rulers of Wallachia.
Notably used in the 15thC by Vlad III the Impaler.
