Gate of Augustus (aka 'Gate of Mazaeus and Mithridates'), Ephesus. A monumental gate, dedicated to the Emperor Augustus, his wife and son-in-law.
Constructed 40AD by slaves Mazaeus and Mithridates, who were granted their freedom as a result.
