Warkworth, England
The village of Warkworth, Northumberland. Sited in a loop of the River Coquet, about a mile from the coast.
Best known for its medieval castle and church, with the latter constructed around 11C.

This particular site is Warkworth Castle's keep, constructed 14C by Henry Percy - 1st Earl of Northumberland. The castle was the Percy's family home.
The castle itself is thought to have been constructed mid-12th century by Prince Henry of Scotland.
