The Holy Island of Lindisfarne, Northumberland, England
Lindisfarne Castle, Northumberland. Constructed 1550 - around the time that Lindisfarne Priory went out of use, and many of the materials may have been repurposed.
Heavily modified and converted to a family home by Sir Edwin Luytens, 1901.
