St Davids, Pembrokeshire, Wales
The Bishops' Palace for St David's Cathedral, Pembrokeshire. Built 13thC-14C, it fell into disrepair in 1536; when the lead roof was removed. Bishop William Barlow used it to fund the dowries of his five daughters.
